Pilgrimage Festivals

These festival days have been placed in the order they should occur per pilgrimage. This should make us better prepared as we observe these wonderful days as per the Scriptural Calendar.

Festival of Matzos

Pilgrimage Festival One

P'XH (Passover)

On the 14th day of  1st Biblical Month

In the first month on the fourteenth of the month in the afternoon is the time of the P'XH (Passover) offering to אהיה ( AE-YE ). (Lev 23:5)

In the first month, on the fourteenth Y'VM (day) of the month in the evening shall you eat M'TSE (matzos), until the twenty first Y'VM (day) of the month in the evening. (Ex 12:18)

M'TSE (Unleavened Bread)

Eat  M'TSE (Matzos) from the 14th to the 21st of the 1st Month

And on the fifteenth Y'VM (day) of this month is the Festival of M'TSE (Matzos) to אהיה ( AE-YE ); you shall eat M'TSE (matzos) for a seven Y'VM (day) period. On the first Y'VM (day) there shall be a Q'DYS (holy) convocation for you; you shall do no laborious work. On the seventh Y'VM (day) shall be a Q'DYS (holy) convocation; you shall do no laborious work. (Lev 23:6-8)

The O'mr (Sheaf)

From the 22nd of the first month until the 26th of the 1st month

Speak to the children of Ysral (Israel) and say to them: When you come to the Land which I am giving you, and you reap its harvest, you shall bring to the k'han (priest) an o'mr of the beginning of your reaping. And he shall wave the o'mr (sheaf) before אהיה ( AE-YE ) so that it will be acceptable for you; the k'han shall wave it on the Y'VM (day) after the rest Y'VM (day). And on the Y'VM (day) of your waving the omr (sheaf), you shall offer up an unblemished lamb in its [first] year as a burnt offering to אהיה ( AE-YE ); Its meal offering [shall be] two tenths [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with oil, a fire offering to אהיה ( AE-YE ) as a spirit of satisfaction. And its libation [shall be] a quarter of a hin of wine. You shall not eat bread or [flour made from] parched grain or fresh grain, until this very day, until you bring your Alve's (God's) sacrifice. [This is] an eternal statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places. Lev 23: 10-14

Festival of the Q'tzyr (Harvest)

Festival of Q'tzyr (Harvest)

On the 15th of the 3rd Month

From your dwelling places you shall bring bread that shall be waved, two loaves made of two tenth-Os'rvn (ephah), they shall be fine flour, they shall be baked leavened; first offerings to אהיה ( AE-YE ). (Lev 23:17)

You shall convoke on this very day - there shall be a Q'DYS (holy) convocation for yourselves - you shall do no laborious work; it is an eternal decree in your dwelling places for your generations. (Lev 23:21)

Feast of Trumpets ( TRVOE )

On the 1st Day of the 7th Month

In the seventh month, on the first of the month, there shall be a rest day for you, a rememberance with shofar (trumpets) blasts, a holy convocation. You shall not do any laborious work,...

(Lev 23:24-25)

Day of Atonement ( KPR )

On the 10th day of 7th Month

This festal period begins on the evening of the ninth day.

"It is a Sabat of rest to you, and you shall afflict your beings. On the ninth day of the new month at evening, from evening to evening, you observe your Sabat".  (Leviticus 23:32)

Feast of Tabernacles ( X'KE ) 

The 15th day​ through the 22nd day of the 7th Month

On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of XKE (Tabernacles), a seven-day period to 

אהיה ( AE-YE ). On the first day is a holy convocation, you shall not do any laborious work... (Lev 23: 34-35)

8th Day - 8th Y'VM

The 23rd day​ of  the 7th Month (8th day of festival)

On the eighth yevem (day) there shall be a holy convocation for you and you shall offer a fire offering to

  אהיה ( AE-YE ), it is an assembly, you shall not do any laborious work. (Lev 23:36)
